Hot Lunch Program
Parent Council is excited to be trialing a full-week meal plan for the 2025-2026 school year! Starting in September, families will be able to opt in to a monthly meal plan, in partnership with Milky Way, PKC and Issi’s Pizza. Here’s how it works:
- Hot lunch is available for PK- Grade 12 and faculty/staff.
- Milky Way will provide hot lunch 4 days a week, 3 days will be dairy and 1 day will be meat.
- Issi’s Pizza will provide pizza lunch 1 day a week.
- Families may opt in by the month for each child, either for the Milky Way program or Issi’s Pizza, or both!
- Bagels and spreads will be available at every meal as well for students who are signed up for hot lunch.
- Drinks are not included in hot lunch. Students should bring water bottles to school.
- All meals are nut-free, but meals are prepped in a facility with nuts.
- Please contact us for gluten free options.
- Order forms for the next month will be available starting the first week of the prior month and close after the second week of the prior month (i.e, October orders will open during the week of 9/1 and close on 9/15).

This is a dynamic process, and we will consider tweaks to the menu and ordering options based on the success of the program and feedback from our parents.
Starting this year, we are proud to partner with the divisions on hot lunch distribution, and each division will be responsible for distributing hot lunch to their students. However, this is a partnership and will only be successful with added help from our valued parent volunteers. Please consider signing up HERE for at least one day per semester, especially if your child will be receiving hot lunch. Our goal is to engage one volunteer in addition to Mizrachi staff each day.
