Welcome to the Fuchs Mizrachi School - where community, connection, and joyful Jewish life are felt the moment you walk through the door.
What makes our school special isn’t just what we teach, but the way we live it together. At Mizrachi, children grow up surrounded by warmth, by purpose, and by people who truly know and care about them. Our commitment to Torah, academic growth, and an unshakeable bond with Eretz Yisrael guides everything we do.
When you walk into our building, you feel it immediately. You’ll see children from 12 months to 18 years entering school together - older students helping younger ones, teachers greeting their students by name, and families connecting in the atrium. The Jerusalem stone that lines our walls reminds every child of our eternal connection to Israel. Signs made by our Bnot Sherut set the tone for upcoming chagim, and tributes around the building reflect the partnership of a community that believes deeply in its school.
As you move through the halls, you’ll hear the sounds of tefillah, the singing of Hallel on Rosh Chodesh, and the excitement of students lighting the Chanukiah together. You’ll see our youngest learners exploring through play, and our older students collaborating in small cohorts, thinking deeply, creating, questioning, and supporting one another. You may find a teacher spending her lunch helping a student, or a group of educators planning the next learning experience together. And throughout the year, you will see alumni - back from yeshiva, seminary, college, or the IDF - returning to reconnect with the teachers and community that shaped them.
Beyond our campus, you’ll encounter teachers opening their homes, students and families celebrating chagim together, and partners across the Cleveland Jewish community - parents, shuls, camps, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Bnei Akiva, and the Community Beit Midrash - working hand-in-hand to support every child.
Our school continues to grow - both in the number of students we welcome each year and in the opportunities we’re able to offer them. That growth is only possible because of the visionaries who built this school community from the ground up. We are deeply grateful to our founders, past leaders, and decades of parents and educators who laid the foundation on which we stand today. Their dedication continues to inspire us and propel us forward.
The Fuchs Mizrachi School is a special place. Our warm, nurturing, deeply connected community creates the environment in which children can truly thrive. It is the product of thousands of small acts of care, intention, and partnership every single day. It is what makes being part of Mizrachi - whether as a parent, a student, or an educator - a true joy.
I hope you’ll come visit and experience the feeling of Mizrachi for yourself.
Warmly,
Rabbi Avery Joel
