THE LOWER SCHOOL

Grades 1-6 at Fuchs Mizrachi School

In Hebrew, a primary (lower) school is called a Bet Sefer Yesodi. Literally, this means a "foundation school." Indeed, these years are the foundation for all of our children's learning and growth. Their emunah (faith), self esteem, academic and social skills are all formed by their experiences at this age. The faculty of our lower school is committed to every child's spiritual, academic, social, emotional and personal growth. We function within a community of caring, designed to assist your child to grow into a caring and responsible Jewish young adult. We strive for academic excellence in all areas while recognizing and prizing individual differences. We look forward to introducing you and your child to our dynamic community!

Sixth graders celebrate their Siyyum of the Taryag Legacy Foundation's Aseret haDibrot program.  FMS was one of the first schools in North America to begin this program.  Rabbi Jablon, our Head of Lower School, is one of the program's consultants.
