LOWER SCHOOL REPORT CARDS
Beginning with the 5767/ 2006-7 school year, we have switched to separate report cards for each grade in the Lower School. This allows us to more clearly communicate achievement, progress and effort in areas directly tied to the grade level curricula. Academic rating skills are based on performance at grade level. However, there is a category noting adequate progress towards personal goals, even if performance is not at grade level. In addition, there are effort ratings along with each academic rating. Beginning in 6th grade, students also receive letter grades in each academic subject (though not in each skill or content area).
As the full Lower School curriculum, as well as report card forms, are available on line, parents can still see how these concepts and skills progress through the Lower School.
Students will also continue to receive a narrative comment form for both Judaic and General Studies.
If you have questions, please contact Rabbi Jablon at sjablon@fuchsmizrachi.org.
