Rabbi Jablon's
Rabbinic Chesed Discretionary Fund
Rabbi Jablon maintains a special chesed discretionary fund that allows members
of our community to help those in need. Normally, fund are used
exclusively to assist members of the extended FMS community who have
significant emergency needs. All of this is done privately and
confidentially, maintaining everyone's honor and dignity.
Occasionally, individual donors ask for- or approve- additional allocations.
For example, we sponsored the Purim Carnival and children's Mishloach Manot
in the Holy city of Hevron (see the pictures and message below from the
www.hebron.com website).
Our school's Parent Council also has a Chesed Committee who, in addition to
raising funds for the chesed fund, also provides meals to FMS families in time
of need or smachot and related needs.
