Admissions Process

The deadline to apply for the 2024-2025 school year is June 7, 2024 for students applying for grades 1-12. Any application received after the deadline will automatically be considered for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

Genshaft Early Childhood Program (12 month - Kindergarten)

 

INQUIRE - Complete an inquiry form here.

 

CONNECT - Our Director of Admissions will contact you to learn more about your family and what you are looking for in a school program.

 

TOUR - We will arrange a tour of our school at a time that is convenient for you. 

 

MEET - We will schedule meetings with our Early Childhood Director, Mrs. Karyn Hartstone, and Head of School, Rabbi Avery Joel, so we can learn more about your child and how we can best support them at Mizrachi.

 

APPLY - You will receive an email invitation to access your child’s admissions portal. In there, you will complete a checklist of items, including a $50 application fee.

 

ACCEPTANCE & ENROLLMENT - You will receive an email from the Director of Admissions confirming your child’s acceptance to Mizrachi and will subsequently be sent information on how to enroll.

MEET - We will arrange parent meetings with our division principals and Head of School so we can learn more about your child and how we can best support them at Mizrachi.

 

SHADOW - Students will spend a day in the school, 

 

APPLY - You will receive an invitation from Veracross to access your child’s admissions portal. In there, you will complete a checklist of items, including a $50 application fee.

 

STUDENT ASSESSMENTS - (FOR JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL APPLICANTS ONLY) Your child will meet with the division principal for an admissions interview. Additionally, We will schedule a time for your child to undergo virtual assessments in General and Judaic Studies. We will work with your child’s current school to schedule these during the day. If daytime assessments are not possible, they will be scheduled in the evening.

 

ACCEPTANCE & ENROLLMENT - You will receive an email from the Director of Admissions confirming your child’s acceptance to Mizrachi and will be sent information on how to enroll.
