Annual Scholarship Campaign
The Annual Scholarship Campaign supports the increasing needs of our families for financial aid to send their children to Fuchs Mizrachi School. All donations go directly to support this effort.
From a purely academic standpoint, Fuchs Mizrachi actually operates not one, but two schools. Our dual curriculum obviously creates a far greater demand for investment in the teachers, classroom materials and programs that support it. We rely on the Annual Fund to provide unrestricted support for the school’s annual operating budget, which includes the day-to-day expenses of running this remarkable educational facility.
Realistically, tuition income simply cannot cover that entire expense. The balance of the school’s budget must come from other sources of income, more than one third of which is comprised of gifts to the Annual Fund campaign.
Today, almost 50% of the student body receives financial aid in some fashion. Nevertheless, the school counts on each Fuchs Mizrachi family to support the Annual Fund drive as each is able. Our ultimate goal is for 100% participation each year.

Realizing the Vision
From our humble beginnings in a synagogue basement and 18 students, Fuchs Mizrachi School now has an enrollment of more than 400 students. More than 254 students have graduated, going on to the finest yeshivot and universities to complete their well-rounded educations.
From literally nothing, we have created an entirely new facet of education in Cleveland, and one of America’s foremost Orthodox Jewish/Religious Zionist day schools. Our new campus, amidst the thriving heart of Jewish culture and education in Beachwood, will be a fulcrum on which the values of the Jewish faith and academic excellence can be moved together into the future.
Realizing the Vision for Fuchs Mizrachi is our strategic plan to secure that future. Developed in concert with parents, community leaders, alumni and trusted advisors, the plan will provide a self-sustaining source of funds so vital to the long-term growth and success of our mission.
Our vision is to raise $50 million, of which $25 million has already been pledged. The remaining $25 million, in endowments and gifts, will be used to establish and provide for:
• The Scholarship Endowment for Fuchs Mizrachi
• The Academic Endowment for Fuchs Mizrachi
• Technology, classroom equipment and other needs to fulfill the promise of the new building
The Campaign will enhance and make permanent what we have achieved together in just over 25 years, enabling Fuchs Mizrachi to:
• Provide scholarships and financial relief to families determined to participate in a Fuchs Mizrachi School education
• Bolster our reputation as one of the preeminent Jewish day schools in the United States
• Augment our ability to attract new families to the region
• Strengthen and contribute to the richness of Jewish life in Cleveland, throughout our nation, and in Israel
• Staff, equip and maintain the new school building to the highest educational standards
