On February 23, the 7th grade math students took the Ohio Mathematics League Contest during their math class. The test consisted of 40 challenging questions from the state’s 8th grade math curriculum. The authors of the contest declared 15 correct answers as commendable. Fourteen of the twenty five students that took the test scored 15 or higher. Max Goldman scored the highest with 35 of 40 correct. His name and score were sent to contest organizers as he may have had the highest score in the county. An update will follow if this is so. Honorable mention and award certificates also go to Yael Blau, Leora Meyers, Yosef Coleman and Josh Schnirman for their scores on the contest.
Congratulations 7th grade Math students!!!!
