Community Involvement

Community Involvement

The natural manifestation of our students’ moral development is their incredible involvement in both the Jewish and general communities.  Whether they are building houses for the homeless or serving as Ambassadors for Unity, or simply sending a care package to an Israeli soldier, our children appreciate and understand that we grow through giving.

Some examples of where we have gone to offer our help and community programs in which we have participated:
* Book and food drives
* Cemetery restoration and beautification projects
* Habitat for Humanity
* Jewish Community Federation – Ambassadors for Unity
* Joint programs with other area day schools
* Joint programs with our Partnership 2000 sister-city, Beit She’an
* Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital
* Mentoring and tutoring... both within the school as well as in inner city Cleveland schools
* Montefiore, Menorah Park and Stone Gardens
* Soup kitchens
